TEACHING ASSISTANT VACANCY
This post is a temporary 2 term post in the first instance. Start date is 5th January 2026.
- 34 hour post (with a lunch duty) to work in KS1, worked across Monday to Friday, from 8.45 am to 3.45 pm x 3 days and 8.45-4.30 x 2 days. The two days that finish at 4.30 will include the organisation and running of an after school club.
Closing date: Friday 12th December 2025 at 12noon
Interview date: Monday 15th December
Rate of pay for this post is Grade 3 / SCP 4 / Term time only (pro rata) – 45.28 pay weeks (dependent on continuous service dates, which may be transferrable).
Hourly rate of pay is £13.05 / FTE £25,185 / Actual £20, 098
Bridgtown Primary School are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support high quality teaching and learning with both behavioural and learning support to pupils with Special Educational Needs. In the first instance, you will be supporting a Year 1 child with reintegration. You will be required to work alongside individual children and groups in class.
