OUR VISION: HAND IN HAND - BUILDING FOR THE FUTURE

  1. Pupils
  2. School Council

School Council

Our School Council represents the views of all our pupils. It gives children the opportunity to make their voices heard and feel part of the whole school community.

A school council is a group of students, two from each year group, who are elected annually to represent the views of all pupils and ensure their school is the best possible place to learn.  The delegated children from each class will work with Mrs Tolmie and Miss Ralphs to discuss specific areas of school life and think about how they can be improved. Regular meetings are held at least twice every half term.

      - Non-uniform day on your birthday

      - A football free day in the MUGA

  • Presented ideas in assembly.
  • Judged competitions
  • Discussed fundraising ideas and organised a world book day competition.
  • Chosen to continue to focus on improving the playground by raising money to buy storage boxes for outside to store board games. They want to start a games club at lunchtimes.
